Another Christmas has come and gone. We are thankful this holiday season for many things. This Christmas season was especially fun for Hudson as he was so into Santa. A week before Christmas we went to visit Santa and Hudson loved every minute of it. He sat on Santa's lap and told him everything he wanted. He ended his conversation with a hug and thank you! It almost brought tears to mom's eyes. Then the week of Christmas quickly arrived. Christmas Eve, Eve we celebrated with the Hause side and I enjoyed some time with the cousins. Then on Christmas Eve (the real eve) the Herriman family came. This means Nana, Papa and Aunt Abby. They sure brought some holiday cheer. We also enjoyed a night at church to celebrate the real reason....the birth of baby Jesus ( I have been learning all about this in Sunday School). We were a little worried we would make church due to the snowfall. I loved being in the snow any chance I could. The Herriman family left on Sunday and then Mimi Hause was back to have a Christmas celebration with her. I have spent my holiday break with all the people I love the most. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to the memories I will make in 2010! Enjoy the slide show and have a Happy New Year!

Carriage Ride
We have been blessed with some very nice weather, so the Herriman family decided to take advantage of the weather and head on down to view the plaza lights. We took a carriage ride to check out all the beauty. Hudson was a little nervous as he was worried that we were not coming along with him. He quickly warmed up and was so cute to watch. The horse, Bill, on the other hand was a little uneasy due to all the traffic. We made it through and enjoyed our ride together as a family. Happy Holidays!!
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! The Herriman family spent the day at their house. Mimi came to visit and then we went to Uncle Shawn and Aunt Kim's house. I had a fun time playing with my cousins, Brady and Jordy. Thursday I helped prepared a pumpkin dessert and gave thanks for many things. Here are just a few....
-mom and dad
-mimi, nana, papa
-Mack (this is a truck hauler from the movie Cars)
-Word World
-baby-this cracks me up since we have NO babies in our house
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks, I was truly amazed at what a 2 year is thankful for!

Red Barn Farm
This was a busy weekend for the Herriman family. We ended the weekend with a trip to the Red Barn Farm in Weston, Missouri. The Lumetta's went along with us. We had a great time. I checked out animals in the petting zoo, the goats were my favorite. Then I took a pony ride and picked out some pumpkins in the patch. Happy Fall!!

Miles for Marley
Today the Herriman family walked for Marley. She is a 1 year old, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. The doctors removed what they could of the tumor and the next day she suffered a stroke, which left the right side of her body paralyzed. Marley spent a little over 50 days at Children's Mercy Hospital getting the care she needed. She has started chemo and physical therapy. Marley is back at home with her family and you can read more of her story at caringbridge.com. Marley is a true example of strength and courage. She is a fighter!! It was such a nice feeling to help someone out and walk for a good cause.

Mrs. Rose-P.A.T.
School has started and mom is back to work so that means Mrs. Rose, our PAT educator is back to her visits. She stopped by Thursday night to see what I have been up to. She was very impressed with my skills. I was asking all kinds of questions and able to complete the many tasks she put before me. As always she left some "homework" and I will be sure to practice those upcoming skills before her next visit. We ended our session with some letter and color fun in the shaving cream. Thanks Mrs. Rose for all you do and coming to see me!

Busy Day
What a busy Saturday we had. This morning we headed out to MOChips at the Liberty Fun Run. MOChips (Missouri Child Identification Program) is a program designed to help law enforcement identify and locate missing children. I got my picture taken, fingerprints, dental records and a DNA buccal swab. Then it was off the Crown Center for Lego Land and Clown Show. We enjoyed a lunch at Fritz's Train Resturant. That was fun and yummy! Lastly we headed over to Natalie's 2nd birthday party at Loose Park. Thanks Nat for the invite and you sure looked pretty.

Doctor Dan
I have a new favorite book that I enjoy reading every night before bed. It's called "Doctor Dan". I have read it so much that I can now read parts of it aloud!

Big Boy Bed
Since mom is off for the summer we decided to try out my big boy bed. I have been sleeping in it for about 4 weeks and doing great! Mom and dad didn't realize I didn't need a box springs, since it was a conversion crib so it was very interesting we when first put the bed together. It was high! The bed was like the "princess in the pea"! I wanted to sleep in it like that but mom said no. Mom and dad took the box springs off and used a bunker board under the mattress and things have been great since then. I have Cars and Handy Manny sheets (thanks nana)so that helps. Mom is still looking for a comforter, but things are great! I know to stay in my bed when I wake up and I have been sleeping from 8:45-8:30, which makes mom very happy. Nap can be a little challenging as I like to get up so mom has been sitting with me until I fall asleep. Next on the agenda is some potty training so stay tuned to see how it goes.
