New Haircut

Check out my new haircut. I decided to go super short, since summer is right around the corner. I also have such bedhead when I wake up. It's hard to style when it's longer. I really enjoy wearing gel in my hair. I also love hats, so hopefully my new look will be easier to maintain.

Baptism

Today was a special day for our family. We joined the Liberty United Methodist church in Liberty, Missouri. We are excited to have a church family and everyone has been so welcoming. I have already made several new friends and look forward to the many programs I can be a part of as I grow within the church. Daddy and I also got baptized today. This was a moment in my life that I will cherish forever!

Huntin with K

Today I invited my neighbor,Kohen, over for a playdate with egg huntin and dump truck fun. I only liked the eggs if I found a treat inside them. Kohen was very nice to share and help me gather eggs. Thanks Kohen for the fun! Come back soon.

Happy Birthday

Well another year has come and gone. I just can't believe my little boy is 2. It's bittersweet for me. Hudson spent his day going to daycare, which he loves. Gida and his friends had a party for him there. Then Goppa came to town. She came early for the birthday party on Saturday. We went to eat at Red Robin and Hudson enjoyed his ice crem birthday treat. He was so excited when the waiters sang Happy Birthday to him. He was all smiles and was a very good boy. Then we were off to build-a-bear. He chose a stuffed turtle and had a great time creating his animal. Then we enjoyed some play time in the Zona Rosa indoor play area. We ended the evening with opening gifts. Hudson is a very good gift opener. He is so happy to see what is in the package.
Here are a few things Hudson is doing....
-Hudson is a huge helper. He loves to help out. I can only hope this continues!
-potty time (we try the potty each night before bath) He is starting to let us know as well when he needs to go.
-talking in 2-3 word sentences
-everything is No MA!
-puts his own clothes on with little help
-coutning to 3
-knows some letters of the Alphabet and the "e" sounds (it's the teacher in me)
Hudson we love you each and every day! We look forward to what this year has in store as you grow and learn. Thank you for your love and laughter.

Snake Saturday

We enjoyed the Snake Saturday Parade for St. Pat's day. We watched the parade and then went to the carnival. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
