Hud's 4th Batman Birthday Party

It's a plane, a bird, no it's....Hudman! Today Hudson had his 4th birthday party. He is obsessed with BATMAN, so what a better theme! We decided to wait and have his party 2 weeks after his real birthday so we could have warmer weather. Hudson and his friends enjoyed bouncing around on his new trampoline (thanks Nana, Papa and Aunt Abby) and jumping around in his bounce house (compliments of Uncle Shawn, Aunt Kim, Cousins: Brady and Jordy). It was a perfect day and fun was had by some of Huds best superhero friends! Thanks friends and family for a wonderful party!

Olive Garden VIP

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Tonight we decided to go low key on Valentine's Day and spend it together as a family. I wanted to go to The Olive Garden, Mom & Dad agreed and off we went. After a healthy serving of salad, bread sticks, and extra black olives I asked the manager who came to check on our table if I could have an Olive Garden badge like hers. After a short moment she brought me my own Olive Garden button with my name on it. She told me to bring it back when I wanted a job.

Nothing says love like a gigantic cinnamon roll from the Corner Cafe. Do you see all the icing on that thing? I know what Mom & Dad were thinking when they saw that to, sugar russsshhhh.

#2's first purchase/gift

During our regular Target trip we bought the baby some diapers. This is the first baby purchase mom and dad have made. They have made an agreement to purchase one pack of diapers weekly for #2 and to set aside a monetary amount to use on baby "stuff". Mom also received a KU burp cloth from a student in her class.

Dance Party

Tonight I went to a dance party at my daycare. All my friends were there and we had a blast, eating pizza and then dancing the calories away to the video game "Just Dance" on the Wii.

Mom's Birthday

Happy birthday mom! Today is the day we celebrate another digit for a wonderful mom. It's a day to treat her and have fun (please take note who is typing this so I thought I could just take it upon myself to add my own thoughts, which my boys did a wonderful job of making me feel special). The family enjoyed a dinner out at the Japanese Steak House. What a fun experience and I especially enjoyed the "fire part" The rice was delish and we topped it off with cheesecake from the OG (Olive Garden). The next night I went to a dance party at my sitter's house while mom and dad enjoyed an evening out!

Since we had a great snow this week we headed over to mom's school to go sledding. Shoal Creek has a great slope, right outside mom's room. Dad even joined in the fun and we had a great laugh as he ended going end over end.

Snow Day #1

I suited up in my snow gear today and headed outside for our first snow. I have been wanting to use my new red shovel from Santa so today is the day! It was a great snow to play around in and not bad temps out either. The best part was coming in for hot cocoa!
