Messy Mania

I love getting messy. Today I went to a PAT (parents as teachers) gathering. It was called messy mania and I had a blast being creative. I painted with shaving cream, paint, brushes and explored different kinds of textures. My favorite part was playing in the rice and bean tables.

Today I was sad as my next door neighbors, the Hakes family, moved. The dad took a new job and they are moving to Colorado. I will sure miss them! We enjoyed the evening togther before they left. We had pizza and played outside. I loved the huge moving truck! Thanks Hakes family for all the memories and friendship. Good luck and best wishes. Please keep in touch!

The Godfather

Today the family and I went to the Liberty fall festival. It was a great time, but I could only handle so much shopping and looking. Check out my picture with the "Godfather". I had to have mom in the picture with me because I was a little scared.

Happy Birthday Kamry! I love going to these parties. Today my "old" neighbor had her birthday party. I call her "old" because she no longer lives by me. She invited me to her birthday at a place called Edge Gymnastics. What a blast! I went down the slides, bounced around and ate (cookies, cake and ice cream). Mom and dad even bounced around on the trampolines. I never knew they could do flips too! I sure hope they let me have a party here.

Kohen

Today Kohen came over while his mom had to work for a couple of hours. We had a great time together. He is teaching me to share. He is much better at it than me. I did share some grapes with him. The two of us are getting soooo big. Look, we can sit at the big table now!

I have been working on my reading skills over the summer. The public library has a summer reading program where you can get a free book for every 20 books you read. I have definitely caught the reading bug, which is the name of the program. Today I received my second book. I picked out "Daddy and Me". Happy reading!
